4 Week Improvers Yoga Course - Standing Postures
Starts Wednesday 3rd August
8.45pm - 10pm at Clifton Library
Standing postures strengthen the legs and ankles and bring flexibility into the hip joints. They prepare the body for more challenging asanas and use principles that can be applied to all postures.
Grounding and stabilising, the legs provide a support structure to hold the pelvic bowl and enable us to move into the posture. Working through a series of classical asanas, we will apply principles of rooting, centering, aligning, bandhas, elongating and breath awareness to better understand the posture.
Open to all levels, this course is suitable for those who have completed a beginners course to regular practitioners who would like to go deeper into their asana practice.
