A complete yoga practice to start the new year.

Working through full cycles of several asana sets (including standing postures, backbends, twistings, forward bends), we end the holiday period with energy, grounding, focus and clear intentions.

The asana work will be woven together through a number of principles that include breathing practices, 'not doing', hara (energy centre), intension, universal forces, peripheral vision, full body awareness, mantra and total attention.

The day is structured around both sessions but there is some availability to attend either the morning or afternoon as stand alone events.

There is a 60min break between sessions. Participants can either bring their own lunch / snacks (and stay at the venue) or there are a few local cafes open nearby.

Yoga equipment is provided but feel free to bring your own mats & blankets.

Open to all levels except for complete beginners. Variations will be given accordingly.
