YOGA OF THE HEART. Yoga is merging of wisdom and love. How can we experience unconditional love? What is the key to keeping our heart always open? Bhakti is the path of surrender and the practice of the presence of 'God'. Very special guest Prem Sadasivananda will share his insights into how this magical process of transformation can take place.
Prem Sadasivananda, scholar of vedantic philosophy, Hindu scripture and Sanskrit, is well-known for his lively and humorous talks, his accessible teaching style and his unique ability to bring the ancient yogic scriptures and texts to life in the modern world. A trained musician, his satsangs and kirtan (chanting) are uplifting, thought-provoking and inspiring. He is a direct and long-term disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda.
Prem Sadasivananda’s spiritual journey began in service as a sannyasin (monk) for 24 years in the Sivananda Organization where he was the director of the New York City and London centers. He taught extensively in the Yoga Teacher Training and Advanced Yoga Teacher Training courses at Sivananda ashrams worldwide. He is the author of the Open Your Heart To Love, a spiritual inspirational book on love and several CDs of chanting. He conducts regular teachings via webinars and live talks and lectures.
