A yoga retreat day to start the New Year as you mean to go on; Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath work), meditation and mantra practise supported by a delicious Yogic lunch...
We will explore the cyclical rhythms of nature to inform our practise, connecting to the steady inner still point in relation to the external ever-changing rhythms of the seasons and life cycles. The festive season can bring rest but also tamasic tendencies (christmas pudding!). With a little added rajas to our asana practice, strong grounding postures and cleansing pranayama, we can stoke our inner fire to transform any sluggish qualities into positive energy.
The day will include asana, pranayama, philosophy, meditation, mantra and yoga nidra.
An opportunity to reflect on the past year and celebrate the new.
This session will be held on Bank Holiday Monday.
(Mats, Blocks, Straps, Blankets, etc. included but feel free to bring your own if you prefer).
10am - 1pm: Pranayama and Asana practice to cleanse and vitalise your whole system; burn away the tamas with grounding and energising asana.
1pm - 2pm: A delicious lunch will be provided to balance and nourish (all organic and Vegan).
2pm - 3.30pm: Restorative practices to balance and renew.
3.30pm - 4pm: Closing Mantras and Meditation, set your intentions for the New Year.
