Rory Viggers is one of Bristols most popular teachers. He has a breadth and wealth of experience, inspired by many systems of hatha yoga, martial arts and radical minds. His extensive and ongoing study with one of the worlds leading and much revered asana teachers, Dona Holleman, continues to elevate and deeply enrich his practice, knowledge and teaching.
His in-depth classes seek to reconnect and harmonise body, mind and spirit.
The foundation of his philosophy and teaching is rooted in awareness, breath, and an understanding of the physical and subtle bodies. He is passionate about yoga asana in terms of approach, application, technique, form and essence.
His classes deliver a deep and strong practise, and can seamlessly accommodate both those newer to yoga through to more long term practitioners and teachers.
Rory believes we all have the capacity to find our still point, calm zone and true center, whenever we desire. The aim of his classes is to navigate you there.

'Rory's yoga classes are excellent. I really appreciate the variation in sequences from class to class, and Rory's attention to detail and ability to describe poses and movements. Rory, you are an inspiring yoga teacher!’
'I really enjoyed it all and found the space and quiet I needed ! Doing so much yoga was great! You are both so gifted at facilitating ... so nurturing and calm. A joy ! Xx'
'I really enjoyed it and I have to say that it was largely down to the skill of your facilitation and how well you work together. You both so clearly put happiness on the map from the beginning and it filtered through. Everyone relaxed and smiled! I loved the gentle humour too. I also appreciated all the hard work behind the scene and your attention to detail. You were both so generous and thoughtful' ... C
'Thanks so much to Dory and Rory for hosting such a lovely relaxing retreat weekend in a beautiful venue. Lots of practice both physical and spiritual and an atmosphere of joy and laughter that was really good for the soul. Namaste x' ... R
'The yoga retreat was absolutely amazing - we had a great bunch of yogis and Rory is an excellent teacher who clearly has so much knowledge - it was a pleasure to practice with him everyday. The location was stunning and there really was nothing I can fault!’
"Thank you for such a a lovely experience for my first yoga retreat. It was such a beautiful location, the venue was so inviting and comfortable and the food very tasty and plentiful. The yoga was very well paced, taught really well by yourself and Rory and interspersed with pranayama and meditation. I found the observance of 'silent time' liberating and will continue to practice this. I felt calm following the retreat and strangely the following day I also felt really energised. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend your retreats and have already mentioned to friends - I will certainly be booking again!"
