Unlock a New Dimension of Asana Teaching & Practice

Are you ready to elevate your practice and teaching to new heights? This 3-day intensive training is designed to deepen your understanding of asana, hone your teaching techniques, and offer tools that will set you apart as a teacher.

Expect hands-on, transformative learning that focuses on intelligent touch, anatomical insight, and practical tools you can apply immediately.

What You’ll Learn

Body first, Asana second: Understand the anatomy and alignment behind each posture before diving into the asana itself.

The Language of Touch: Learn how precise, intelligent touch can guide students to their fullest expression of a pose, empowering them to make adjustments themselves.

Innovative Use of Props: Explore new ways to use props (including some you may not have encountered before) to enhance your students' practice. You’ll also explore why some common prop uses might actually hinder students.

The 5 Codes of Asana: Master the five essential principles that apply to every asana, making it possible to teach to a diverse range of body types, abilities, and ages—essential for 'All Level' classes.

Support for Foundational Postures: Dive into key asanas across all categories: standing postures, forward bends, twists, backbends, seated postures, hand balances, and inversions. These are poses your students need the greatest support with.

"There are Yoga teachers and then there are teachers of Yoga. Rory belongs to the latter group… I always learn something new; and, I really mean always. He teaches new ways to get into an asana, ways to become aware of and awaken muscle groups you never knew existed, and to relax and become confident in your body. Rory has a wealth of knowledge of the human body that he’s most skilled in articulating and sharing for a more embodied way of being in the world (not just on the mat)”

Why This Training is Different

This isn’t just another asana training. Over the course of three days, you’ll gain tools and insights that will completely transform how you teach, understand and practice asana.

Whether you’re teaching large group classes or one-on-one sessions, you’ll learn how to provide intelligent, personalised support, even in a busy class environment.

With direct hands-on experience, you'll be working closely with fellow practitioners to refine your skills and deepen your understanding.
