For Yoga students and teachers ready to go deeper

Yoga & Mixed Spiritual Arts Residential Immersion

With Dory Walker & Rory Viggers

I want to attend!

5 - 7 December, 2025

When practice becomes your whole environment, transformation happens naturally. A weekend immersion to live yoga — not just study it.

We invite you to a special weekend of immersive practice…

Environment shapes what’s possible: in practice, in teaching, and in life.

More than any single method, it’s immersion that creates the biggest shift.

When we step into full immersion, attention heightens, learning accelerates, and understanding deepens.

With full focus and no distraction, the body learns faster.
The mind softens its grip.
The heart opens.

It’s not about retaining more, but about creating the space to listen beyond the mind’s programming — to touch real freedom and the living heart of yoga.

This is why immersion has always been central to yoga, spiritual study, and mastery in every field, from language to craft to leadership.

It condenses years of growth into days.
It turns knowledge into lived experience.
In immersion, you don’t just learn — you become.

A weekend devoted to full-spectrum practice…

Our Winter Residential Immersion offers an opportunity to live your practice fully — from the first breath on arrival to the last breath before you return home. When you return, you’ll find yourself anchored in a new way of being, more open, steady, and connected to what truly matters.

Through a carefully balanced programme, you’ll explore:

  • Intelligent, biomechanically sound asana rooted in the vital principles of practice

  • Pranayama and meditation

  • Vedic chant and sound

  • Ontology and philosophy

  • Integrative practices that weave body, mind and awareness

Across 18 hours of guided sessions, you’ll be held in a focused, like-minded community container — a space to meet yourself more deeply and remember what it means to practise and meet life with total presence.

Yes, save my place!

Not a retreat in the usual sense…

We love slow mornings and beach naps as much as anyone.
But rest alone doesn’t create real change.

Immersion does.

This weekend is for those who want to step beyond the surface, to refine skill, expand awareness, and experience the depth that only joined-up immersive practice can offer.

Location

Just five miles from Glastonbury, on the edge of Compton Dundon village in Somerset, EarthSpirit lies within the 'temenos' (sacred enclosure) of Avalon. The venue is situated in a beautiful landscape between two nature reserves; and just two minutes walk from St Andrew's church, which has within its cemetery a yew tree of 1,800 years old. The seventeenth century farm buildings have been restored and specially converted for use as a venue. They are set within seven acres of fields and gardens.
