Yoga & Transformational Breath

A retreat day with Dory Walker & Aimee Hartley

Sunday 17 July 2022
10am - 5pm
Clifton, Bristol

Experience deep release through the alchemy of embodied yoga practices and transformational breath work.

Feel refreshed and rested by opening the breath and releasing emotional, mental and physical tension.

Yoga and breath work ask you to fully participate in your journey to dropping ever more deeply into embodiment.

It invites presence and surrender.

Join Aimee and Dory for an immersive day of yoga and transformational breath.

A day to drop into your heart, your breath and feeling state. To reset and rebalance.

Introduction to Transformational Breath.

In this 2 hr session, you will experience conscious connected breath-work along with acupressure, sound, movement, affirmations and light movement.

The introductory workshop will cover:

Breath Analysis: learn where you are holding onto tension within your respiratory system.

Release: learn techniques on how to release physical and emotional tension

Full Breath: learn how to breathe fully and freely through conscious connected breathing

Relaxation: relaxation techniques to help calm the body and mind.

The majority of the session is a practical session where you will be breathing in a comfortable position (laying down with blankets + pillows) and Aimee will be guiding you throughout. There will be time for deep relaxation at the end of the session too.

“Thank you for a great workshop. It was a very interesting as it bought up a lot of emotions, and I feel it has been a very big breakthrough!
I have done CBT for a year and I’m an avid meditator but this was the first time I was able to feel my emotions so deeply. …Very amazing!”

“Thank you for a wonderful session. Just wanted to appreciate how well you and the facilitators held the space. The couple of times I’ve done different kinds of breath-work before, I’ve felt lost in the crowd or uncertain I was “doing it right”. Thank you for creating a safe guided clear environment to explore and understand the practice.”
